Intermountain Electric, Inc. was the prime electrical contractor for the City of Aurora’s Prairie Waters Project, which was named a 2011 Project of the Year by the American Public Works Association (APWA). The APWA presents the award annually to promote excellence in the management and administration of public works projects. Prairie Waters is part of a 10-year capital improvement project to strengthen the reliability of the water system and is projected to meet Aurora’s water needs through 2020. In addition, The University of Colorado’s Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences was formally dedicated on Aug. 29 at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, in which Intermountain Electric, Inc was also the prime electrical contractor.
